No matter if the skies are grey
there are always people out-and-about in Paris.
These girls wanted their photo taken with the majestic
Eiffel Tower as a backdrop ... of course I obliged
I hope they were happy
Androuet at the bottom end of Rue Moufftard
crammed with the most amazing selections of cheeses
My choice for the day was " Delice de Bourgogne"
a decadent triple cream cheese - buttery textured and utterly sumptuous
I devoured this with a hunk of crusty baguette
in the nearby little Saint-Medart church yard
On entering this majestic old church "St Etienne du Mont" in Paris' 5th arrondissment
I could hear wonderful singing coming from some-where
at the rear of the church .... on following the sound I found this
small group of children who had the most amazing voices.
A special moment in time
I love this network of passages through-out the city of Paris
which link street to street .... undercover and lit with the loveliest of lanterns
Just a stone-throw away from my vacation studio in the 2e arrondissement
these wonderful walkways gave me the benefit of being able to go out shopping of an evening
in a secure and sheltered environment
The architecture in these passages is truly amazing.
